Madore Supports Illegal Aliens

Sunday, March 23rd, 2008

On March 13th, Shelley Madore helped defeat a motion that would have prevented cities from willingly hiding illegal aliens. Cities like Minneapolis and St. Paul, have sanctuary policies that prevent police officers from asking about immigration status or enforcing immigration laws. This allows illegal aliens, including criminals, to enjoy the sanctuary of the city without the fear of deportation.

HF 3010 would have ended those sanctuary policies and allowed our police departments to protect us by enforcing the law. Instead, Madore voted against a motion that would have brought HF 3010 to a vote. In essence, she voted to allow for status quo of protecting illegal aliens. Rather than allowing police officers to do their job, Shelley would rather hamstring them with sanctuary laws.

Sanctuary policies allow a whole host of problems, including financial, legal and criminal. Problems such as high-crime, over-crowded schools/hospitals and taking jobs which could go to legal Minnesotans. The recent bus crash in Cottonwood demonstrates this isn’t just a Minneapolis/St. Paul problem, but affects ALL of Minnesota, including Apple Valley.

Shelley Madore would rather let us down by giving safe haven to illegal aliens whose very presence is a slap in the face to all law-abiding citizens.

Shelley Madore, You’re Letting Us Down…And Protecting Criminals!!

Madore Votes To Protect Criminals

Tuesday, March 11th, 2008

On March 3rd, House Minority Leader Marty Seifert proposed an amendment to deny aid to cities that prohibit their law enforcement officials from detecting illegal aliens or even inquiring about immigration status of people they come in contact with.  Shelley Madore voted AGAINST it.

Seldom a day goes by where another story isn’t heard of illegal aliens either killing/harming Americans or committing identity theft on a massive scale.  While all tragic, they are doubly so in that the perpetrator of the crime shouldn’t even have been here in the first place.  Instead of encouraging law enforcement to enforce our laws, Madore would rather they not even attempt to find out if a law has been broken.

What good are police if they are not allowed to enforce the law?

Madore would rather give your money to cities that harbor illegal aliens.   Last most of us checked harboring and abetting criminals was against the law, but Madore would rather cities hamstring police with laws preventing them from doing their job.

Just another example of Madore putting illegal aliens before the safety and security of her residents.

Madore, you’re letting us down….and endangering our lives.

Shelley Madore Has Alot To Be “Proud” Of

Sunday, May 6th, 2007

Recently Shelley Madore sent a letter to her supporters bragging

Last week the Minnesota House met in a marathon stretch of floor sessions to pass all of the major finance bills. After 53 hours of floor debate, just short of a House record - we’re a full two to three weeks ahead of schedule compared with previous legislative sessions.

Apparently she’s proud that she can raise your taxes faster than previous legislators can.

She then went on to highlight some of the bills she is most proud of. However, she left out some of her more “infamous” activities. And because I’m such a nice guy I thought I’d list some of the most interesting ones here.

The State Knows What You Don’t About Your Kids

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007

Wow…this is honestly amazing, I wouldn’t have believed it.

Today, an amendment was offered to require hospitals to notify parents if their child had been sexually assaulted and was seeking medical treatment.  Shelley Madore voted NO.

In other words, Madore believes that if your CHILD is sexually assaulted, you don’t need to know. Unless you happen to find out by other means, such as your child telling you.

Remember these are children, not adults.

Given that Shelley Madore is a parent herself (and I’m sure she is a good and caring one), how can she vote like this?? If your child was sexually assaulted and in the hospital, wouldn’t you want to know as soon as possible???

Shelley Madore You’re Letting Us Down….And Endangering Our Kids!
